During our Portfolio Development class we were tasked with creating two new portfolio pieces. I wanted to take this opportunity to learn some new software, so I started to gain experience in TouchDesigner and Ableton Live 11. I created the audio for the videos in this project using Ableton and a free to use synthesizer plugin called Vital. I also used tutorials from an amazing artist PPPANIK (on YouTube), and started learning TouchDesigner. While some of the aspects you see in these animations were not directly covered in the tutorials I used skills learned from them to integrate new things into each TouchDesigner project file.
I will continue to use both of these softwares in the future and look forward to creating new things with them. I love to create things procedurally and change aspects of the project or add new things later on without changing the core visuals, and software like TouchDesigner allows me to do that, as well as time aspects of the animation to audio automatically.
